Prompt Editor User Guide

1. What is the Prompt Editor? #

The Prompt Editor lets you write, manage, and save custom prompts for AI assistants. You can use placeholders, quickly insert preset tags, save your work, and clear the editor when needed. This makes prompt creation faster, easier, and more standardized.

2. How to Use #

Editing Your Prompt #

  • Type your prompt in the main input box. You can write multiple lines.
  • Insert placeholders using curly brackets, for example: {variableName}. These can be filled with specific values later.

Replacing Placeholders with Tags #

  • When your cursor is inside a {variableName} placeholder, a list of suggestions or tags will appear.
  • Click any suggestion to replace the placeholder with the selected value. This helps keep prompts clear and consistent.

Saving Your Prompt #

  • Click the save button (usually with a save icon).
  • You’ll be asked to give your prompt a name. Enter the name and confirm.
  • The editor will check that both the name and content are filled in. If all is good, your prompt is saved and you’ll get a confirmation message.

Clearing the Editor #

  • Click the clear button (trash icon) to erase all content in the editor.

3. Key Features #
